Its a MSI wind and it was an XP netbook prior, ahem my WIN 7 is not of, the kind that MS wants us to have....

ill leave it to the imagination, but now i have to deal with changing wallpaper every time my screen saver goes on from my current one to a blank one with some words on the corner... how can I get rid of this and how can I place my old wallpaper back permanently?

Type “regedit” in start menu search box or run and press enter.

2. Navigate to the following registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\
ActiveDesktop

3. Right-click on the right-side pane and select New ->DWORD (32-bit Value).

4. Name the DWORD value “NoChangingWallpaper” and double click on it.

5. Type “1” in the “Value Data” box.
