Here are my pc specs:

Intel Core i7 6700
ASUS NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1070 8GB
16 GB RAM
ASUS H170 PRO MOBO

I dont know what to do....
Please help
Should i ask my tech to install windows 7 or windows 10?

I currently use windows 8.1 .....and i like it but wanted 7 actually....
Now as i am upgrading i wanted to know what to choose from the two.

I have used windows 10 before and it was really awful....hated it ..

Windows 7 was my favourite.....now as i have chance to use it personally.....i got really happy....

But there comes the bad luck.

My PC has a skylake so windows 7 isnt the best os for this hardware.
I am a gamer so i checked out Google and found that DX12 is going to get mainstream....so windows 7 is going to be out of the track

What should i do?

Should i again try the Windows 10?
Or go for Windows 7?
I have a lot of old games.....like GTA SA and Bully....which never worked fine on Windows 10 for me before...
So i need to know about that.....
Which OS?
7 or 10?

Is 7 still better than 10?
10 has got lots of shitty problems .....should i again try it?
If its the only possible way?

Because if will get windows 7....i will get a good os....but not the most out of my pc......win 7 will get out of gaming market soon too.....
So which one is best for me now?

I will be playing old and modern games ....

Solution
I would suggest windows 7 pro if you want the OS. Windows 7 home is at its limits with 16GB's. As for the choice windows 7 does have less issues.
In the end it comes to down personally preference, yes windOwsley 7 only supports up to dx11 and has more support for most programs. but in the long run you will probably benefit from Windows 10 with dx12 being supported and there being more programs that have support for Windows 10. I myself prefer windows 7 but still went with Windows 10 as I want to be able to take advantage of dx12 when more games start supporting it.

Should i go with 10 in spite of this?

"The 'Anniversary Update' is the largest and most important Windows 10 upgrade so far. It is also compulsory, but as it began rolling out reports followed that the mega update is causing PCs to freeze. Now Microsoft has confirmed one major issue and admitted it currently does not have a fix…"

I have had enough of 10 already before and dont wanted more.

From a personal preference, I recommend getting windows 10 home, its what im currently running on and its perfectly fine (other than i had a problem with disk usage at 100% it could be easily fixed by opening cmd with administrator and typing "WPS -cancel"). Hope i helped
