Windows 7 Or Windows 8?

I am a pc gamer, and I'm going to order a new laptop. I was wondering what windows operating system is better for gaming. Windows 7 or 8 ?

Performance-wise, they are the same. Testing shows little to no difference between the two. I personally prefer Windows 7 and found Windows 8 annoying.

Many people doesn't like Win8. But I loved it. It grants you Great speed. GUI is also better.

& there is no problem for Newer games on Win8. Go for Win8 >>

I found that windows 8 gave my laptop a major gaming performance boost. using windows 7, i used to get unplayable framerates on BF3, even 32p matches, due to my cpu, but with windows 8, i get playable framerates on all servers. yes, the UI takes a bit to get used to, but once you know your way around, its as easy as 7
