Windows 7 or XP?

Hi guys,

I'm building my first PC, and I'm wondering whether I should get windows 7 or xp

I'll obviously go for 64-bit, but I've been reading about Crysis not working on windows 7 - is this true?

My main objective is to play Crysis with this rig, so if it doesn't run with Windows 7, well, I'm gonna get XP.


What do you reckon?

Reports on the Inet that Crysis runs fine on either 32 bit or 64 bit Win-7.
Get Windows-7, much more stable.

Make sure your hardware devices work with 64 bit Win-7, and the 64 bit drivers are available.
 
It's best to go with Windows 7 right now.

Windows XP is a great OS because it has been around for a long time and it has gone through three Service Packs and countless patches. Therefore, it is a pretty rock solid OS. However, there may not be any drivers for current motherboards so you may run into some motherboard support issues with Windows XP.

Also, if are a gamer, then you need to realize that Windows XP does not support DX10 or DX11.
