[SOLVED] Windows 7 Pro 64 - DOWNLOADS folder does not remember the settings for sorting and view files

For some time now, when I open the DOWNLOADS folder, I have to manually select the 'sort' option almost every time to be able to view the files in that folder by date, with the most recent items at the top. This folder also doesn't remember the object size view setting - I have to manually set "very large icons" every now and then. Before, this folder somehow remembered these settings and I didn't have to manually set it up every now and then. It is very onerous.

Probably the settings of the registry responsible for this have been corrupted. Does anyone know how to fix it, so as not to break Windows?

I added the variable 'BagMRU Size' in the appropriate place in the registry because I didn't have one, and assigned a value of 20,000 as indicated in the article. Now I will be watching. For now, the folder holds the settings.
