Arif Hassan :
No, i have no important file on that drive and i am unable to access it it says you need to format the disk before using it.
Okay. Please follow the instructions
EXACTLY as shown:
1)Open Command Prompt by pressing ctrl+r at the same time. Type CMD and press Enter.
2)Type "diskpart", then press Enter.
3)Next, type "list disk" and press enter. If that fails to list the affected disk, try "list volume". It will NOT change your speaker volume.
4)Now, type " clear disk X:, replacing X: with the affected drive. Again, you may need the " clear volume X:" command, replacing X: with the affected volume.
CHECK 4 TIMES TO ENSURE YOU HAVE SELECTED THE RIGHT DISK,VOLUME!!!!!!!!! ALL DATA ON THE DISK/VOLUME WILL BE DESTROYED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If "clear disk X:" or "clear volume X" doesn't work, you can try "clean disk X" or "clean volume X". This takes MUCH longer. Like hours longer on 1TB drives.
If that works, you can start using the USB stick again, but DO NOT trust it with important data EVER! Hope that helps!
