windows 7 shutdown problem

just a simple question , every time i shut down my laptop the LED stays on and the ring around the power button stays on until i hold the button to shut down my laptop i had this problem in windows 10 then i downgraded to 8.1 this got fixed but i felt going back to 7 and the problem got back so i hope you help me ps : the same problem happens on sleep it just suck my battery

What are your power settings on?

Check what the power button is configured to do in Windows Power Options when you press it. It may be set to put your laptop in sleep mode instead of fully shutting it down.

Windows 7: To make sure your laptop fully shuts down use the Windows "Shut down" menu by clicking on the Windows globe icon at far left of the taskbar at the bottom. Do that instead of using the power button.

thanks for replying but i don't you've got the question , i always shut down my laptop using the shutdown button XD i'm not stupid ,,, my power plan is on high performance , but still what i'm trying to say that my laptop is not shutting down unless i held the power button and not sleeping when i'm closing the lid tho it's set to do that

Their should be a setting for what you want the pc to do when you click the shutdown button
