Hello, i'm currently having problems installing the Windows 7 SP1 on my laptop; running Windows 7 32-bit. Windows Update downloads it successfully, and than says it installed correctly. Then when I restarted the computer to finish installing the update, I get the message saying it installed properly, but when I go into Computer properties it doesn't say I have SP1. Windows Update then again says that Windows SP1 needs to be installed.
I tried installing it manually, but when I executed the installation process it said: The Windows 7 Service Pack Installation cannot proceed until your computer is restarted. Please restart your computer and try again. I restarted the machine numerous times, and re-executed the installation process, but it didn't work.
I also tried downloading the Microsoft Fix It, but that failed. I then moved on to the manual procedures, but I got errors when executing some of the commands in CMD.
I don't know what else to do, please help.
Thank You, Atomic GPU.
Also, I had the same problem with Win Update on another 32-bit machine, but when I installed it manually (With the same exact .exe file) it worked just fine.
