[citation][nom]matchboxmatt[/nom]Is it just me, or is the quality of Tom's Hardware articles decreasing in quality every month? If it's not a sensationalist story that doesn't have much to do with PC hardware, it's remarkably bland ones that have been ripped from other news outlets.I guess I should just be thankful that the weekend joke articles are gone.[/citation]

Totally agree. :) But nobody listens.

I am hoping it comes out Early Summer latest but I have this feeling of August/September for some reason. MS seems to love the beginning of seasons and summer doesn't seem to be there fav. Reason I am hoping for the soon release is so I can install and test it during summer break. I wont have motivation to install Windows 7 during the fall lol.

[citation][nom]Drag0nR1der[/nom]What about the "It's actually happening" bit ... that's pretty much a 'big deal' statement.[/citation]
It could also be sarcastic acknowledgment of the obvious inevitability that there will definitely be a service pack even without the screenshot 'leak' confirmation.

[citation][nom]phexac[/nom]This site has become a joke with articles composed by a bunch of partially retarded individuals who think stating that dust settles is news.[/citation]

OMG OMG OMG MOGM OMG OMG OMG OMGOM GOMGOMGOGMO OOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMGGG

OH MY GOOOOOOOOOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG OMG OMG !!!!!!!!!!!

OMG... I think I just pissed all over myself?

Really, who cares? Its like getting excited because Adobe Reader has just updated from 9.20 to 9.3. Its going to happen.

Windows 7 isn't vista... so whoopie.

WTF is that about it taking an hour or more?!?!? I seriously can not understand why it could possibly take that long! XP service packs seem to take too long as well.
Expand the damn files, place a boot time script to replace system files, reboot.
Retarded, bloated, convoluted, piece o crap, operating systems!
They seriously need to rewrite (start from scratch) with operating systems. Make it more modular.

Zomg! those screenshots look AMAZING!! I've never been so stoked for a service pack before!! I mean, look at the features! a Check box to restart the computer, it even comes with a warning that u might need to restart and to top it off they even offer a CANCEL button as a safety note! Oh I"m so excited, the Text! it looks so lifelike that it is actually eligible and i can under stand it!. If these screenshots are any indication of what SP1 will look like, then i'm sold!! I just hope these screens weren't pre-rendered or part of some cinematic.

All I know is, when you guys have a computer problem you come to tom's hardware for the answers,so remember that.
