Do you have to delete preloaded microsoft 2010 before installing my 2007? with Windows 7

It would be best to uninstall it, do not just delete it. As you have no use for it there is no point in getting into a tangle with two versions.

Thanks for the help. I eventually went to Microsoft and to install Office 2007 into Windows 7, you have to disable all the automatically starting programs and then it loads OK. You can leave the auto starts off to speed your computer up, except your security software of course.
