On start up my time service will not start automatically, always causing my date and time to be off. I can go to services and manually start it, then sync the clock with the internet time, but I would like to fix the issue of the service not starting automatically. I have tried all the cmd "fixes" I have found online (w32tm /unregister and /register) and checked my error logs to no avail. I have tried everything on Google on page 1 and page 2 lol. Setting the service to delay start also does not work. Please and thanks to anyone who has any suggestions I haven't tried.

Solution
Go to Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Task Scheduler

In the left pane, expand the Task Scheduler Library tree. Expand the Microsoft tree. Expand Windows tree.

You should find an entry in that tree for Time Synchronization. Left click it in the left pane and be sure it is Enabled. If it is not enabled right click it in the center pane and select Enable from the menu. Then right click in the center pane again and select Properties from the drop down menu. Click the triggers tab and examine the settings. Make sure it is set to run at system start up.

If it's not there search for "windows 7 time synchronization scheduled task" on the internet and add it as described.

If all of that doesn't help go to Control Panel->Date and Time...

If all of that doesn't help go to Control Panel->Date and Time and make sure the correct Time Zone is selected.

If it keeps losing the settings you may have a bad BIOS backup battery that needs replacing.
