assuming your Windows 10 is actually activated properly..
and assuming you have upgraded that Windows 10 install to the recent 1607 release...

Solution
Was your Win7 copy an OEM copy or a full retail copy? If full retail you *should* be able to activate your upgraded Win10 copy with a new motherboard. If OEM, that stays with the original hardware it was installed on and cannot be carried over to new hardware. In that case, you would need to purchase a new Win10 license.
