Windows 7 Ultimate stuck on updates

I just clean installed windows 7, and I tried doing the updates, but It's stuck on checking for updates, then I try to do the standalone update installer thing, but that is also stuck on Searching for updates on this computer. Please help !!!!!!!!

I have a 64 bit Operating System, downloaded the 64 bit edition, same thing
