Yeah it is. But nope to many letters I guess [:bohleyk:4] ; oh well thanks anyway.

I am on dual boot, Winxp and Win7, and although i use Winxp but now-a-days i am more into Win7, because of one thing only , the overall feel, the aero theme gets me stucked to it. Whereas XP is a little like minimal feel to it, although i would never give up Winxp till Win10 comesup.

P.S: How do i cast my vote.

well, unless you have a Pentium 4 CPU and XPDM chipset and you don't plan to upgrade your computer
vista is the only option left
according to intel's website windows 7 doesn't support XPDM chipsets and according to MS vista is the last version of windows to support P4
you can install 7 on P4 but it will lag and freeze, i tried it on an old p4 desktop with 2gb ram and it can't do anything but lag
vista is a lower version but that doesn't mean that it's bad
vista sp2 is simply a w7 with different GUI
one of my friends compared vista ULT X64 sp2 to 7 ULT X64 SP1 on his laptop (core 2 duo 2.5 ghz and 4gb ram)
vista got higher bench marks and greater performance
"7 uses less ram than vista" :-that's because the minimized superfetch algorithm
vista uses a bigger algorithm ut it uses more ram but that also leads to higher performance
