I noticed that the spinning circle in windows 7 welcome screen and shutting down screen isn't spinning and it's making my windows startup take long.
(When I login it shows the welcome screen for 2 min and then a black screen for 3-4 minutes and then slowly shows my taskbar and wallpaper and then the icons)
My windows and my graphics driver are up to date

You can install and give this a try: http://soluto.en.softonic.com/

It will tell you exactly what loads, how long it takes, and what is slowing your system down. I have installed it before to analyze start-up, but found it annoying when if I didn't uninstall it later....
