Windows 7 Wont update service pack 1

i have a toshiba satellite l675 im trying to update service pack 1 and security updates put it keeps failing keeps giving error codes and to try again i have try microsoft fix it i didnt work i try windows fix tru the operating system i clear all cookies and history and temopary files nothing works help me make this update go tru. i dont want to reinstall. i need help

this happens from time to time

you want to do a SFC run and CHKDSK run (google them), then you might have to reset windows update (flush out anything downloaded)

also check date and time is correct, and that you have plenty of available free space
