Windows 8.1 100% Disk and no fixes work

Before i went to bed yesterday i updated windows 8.1 and shutoff my pc and then today my disk usage is 100% and mostly system and norton and google chrome rise sometimes. I just got this gaming dekstop and am really mad cause all the fixes dont work quota super fect windows search" please help me (im writing this on my phone cause its not possible on it 🙁 )

I would try uninstalling Norton, rebooting once or twice, and then reinstall Norton. Norton probably got goofed by the upgrade to Windows 8.1. Windows setup suggests to disable anti-virus when doing upgrades.

Have you downloaded all of the required Windows updates?
Is Windows still downloading updates in the background and installing them?
is Norton still doing its first full scan after install?

Test the hard drive to see if there are any problems on it. Most manufacturers have a drive tester to run on their hard drives..but get them from their website, not some 2nd party website.

Sorry for the trouble. Can you go to the Services console (services.msc) and then disable the Windows Search service.

Let me know if that makes a difference.

I have the same problem, none of these solutions worked :/ Except for me it's often System or Local Network that causes the 100%.
