So, I have had windows 8 for a while now, and I can no longer seem to mount .ISO files using any program. i was able to in the past, but no program works anymore... with daemontools i just get a failed to mount message, wincdemu refuses to mount, and the native windows 8 mounting gives me nothing but an error that it could not mount drive. I have searched for a couple days now and have not found anything on the subject.
Any help would be appreciated

what error or errors do you get in deamon tools? also which version of deamon tools are you using? is it a legal copy or a pirated one? also do the .iso files mount on another computer or is it just on your own computer that they don't?

Not sure exactly what error, i only remember a generic "failed to mount iso" type message, however i can install again if i can post a debug or something.
Whatever the most up-to-date version of the lite version there is.
legal, lite
The .iso file does indeed mount on a friend's computer, however he is on win7, but to my knowledge that should not make a difference.
