Windows 8.1 Pro | Windows Can't be installed

Right so for the longest time I've been using a cracked version of Windows 8.1 Pro and never ever had a problem, but with Windows 10 on the way I thought it would be a good idea to go legit. So I used the ISO creating tool by Microsoft and created a 64bit English 8.1 Pro disc. Everything is fine up until the point where it asks me to pick a drive...

It states that "Windows can't be installed on drive 0 partition 1" (Same goes for drive 1 partition 1)

Both drives are 1TB WDBlue

Upon clicking more details it says "Windows can't be installed on this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu"

This is rather weird, I've tried formatted and changing the format of the disk

So I went ahead and put in my pre activated disk in and this error doesn't even show at all, it more than happy to let me do a clean install

Any help would be gladly appreciated

OK.
It may be a completely incorrect format, resulting from diskpart.
Delete, Create, Format, and see what happens.

Yes the key has to be genuine otherwise it would not have let get to the install, the ISO was created using Microsoft's Tool so it has to be legit

That's not necessarily true, but let's move on.

Booting from that DVD, what options does it present you during the install?
I'm thinking you'll need to select Custom, and wipe all existing partitions.
Then install.

The two options are either Upgrade or Custom, Custom lets me do the clean install, I have also tried deleting the partitions but yet the same message applies, that is how I found out the cracked disk worked because that was my only way of getting windows back

I have used diskpart to clean everything on the disk

OK...
So booting from your install DVD, selecting Custom....what happens, specifically?

I've also tried booting it from a usb, makes no difference and clicking on custom shows up my two drives, but both of them both have the same error message

There is only one partition

Solution

I tried doing that all again but it didn't work, same error. So I went back to the start of the install where the two options are either repair or install, so I went and did a start up repair which only took a few seconds to do since there was no OS to repair... Went back to install and then there was no error on the drive, this makes no sense to me why it no works but it is now installed and thank you very much for you help
