There was a windows 8.1 update and it decided to uninstall all my USB drivers. Now none of my USB ports work. Not even during boot up, I had to a PS2 converter to be able to use a keyboard.

I'v tried re-installing/uninstalling drivers, no luck there. Is there a way to revert back to previous drivers? (The option is disabled through device manager) but is there a way to do it manually?

Any suggestions, or feedback would be great; I'v been trying to get it to work for the past 3 hours.

Solution
Run "System Restore" and choose a restore point before the windows update. It should revert all settings back to what they were and no data will be lost.
