Windows 8 and bios

Hey guys i ran into a sticky situation , wondering if you guys could help ,
I wanted to down grade from windows 8 to windows 7 using a usb and i chose the boot from usb choice which is within windows 8
as I proceeded to install windows 8 it gave me an error as i had not formatted the usb properly , and now I am stuck at the " reboot ans select proper boot deice" screen
I know i have to get into the bios and change few things , but not sure as to what , anyone can help would be really appreciated

What kind of system board / model do you have?
Typically in the BIOS, one would have to modify the Boot Parameters or Boot Order i.e. USB, HDD, Optical.
