Windows 8 & Core Un-Parking?

Hey guys, I've been having trouble with Micro stuttering as some people say and I believe it's due to my cores parking. I'm running Windows 8 (If I had it differently I would be running 7) It came with the PC I've recently purchased. I'm looking to stop my cores un-parking. Does anyone know how to do this?

If you hate Win8 that much, you can try requesting a Win7 downgrade key.

As for your parking problem, check to see that your power profile while on AC power is set to Performance. Another thing you can try is setting your application/game's affinity to fewer cores to make them too busy to get parked.

If you still get stuttering then your problem likely is something else.

I agree. If they won't do the "downgrade" you can buy a Windows 7 64 bit OEM for about 99 dollars. It will come with a Windows 7 CD and a license key

Win8 is not so bad once you get used to it and have pinned your most frequently used stuff to the task bar to avoid the ugly blocky start page.

The only thing that really bugs me about Win8 is how the task bar is always on top while applications are flashing their windows for attention.
