Windows 8 - DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

Every time i start up my computer i get a blue screen that says something like "Your computer ran into a problem. Please wait while we collect data." "You can go search on the internet DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE for help" and it collects some data the my PC restarts. after it restarts i log in and it works fine. I just don't understand why it does it every time i start my PC up.

I dont know what im supposed to be looking at, so i just went under "Windows Logs" --> "System".

Once you've adjusted the registry entry, try reinstalling your NVidia software. That should correct the error, and possibly the cause for the crash.

Well, that did not work. My PC doesnt crash. I only get the error when i restart or Start-up my PC.

If correcting the errors that are being logged aren't resolving the crash (just a general description of a PC that starts up, and then has to shut down), then a windows repair is a next good step. It's more of a wide sweeping way to fix a specific issue.
