windows 8 themes with word

i am using a really sweet windows 8.1 theme called grey 8.1 glass. its black and grey.
using word or exel etc... the boxes are all black and i dont like it is there any way to fix just those programs back to default?

Unless your theme supports that, no, since Win8 (and 10) was made with the intention of using mutually readable color pallets (select a dark background, get white text, pick light background, black text, etc), and it seems your theme is just broken.
