Windows automatically changing to Windows 7 Basic from Aero

Hey, so I've had this issue for a while now. At completely random unrelated points during gaming my windows theme AUTOMATICALLY changes. No warning, no popup, no questions asked. It changes, I wait for a while, alt tab and it changes back. [censored] Does anyone know what causes this?

That is because of the change from game to desktop video. If you are in a game, it won't matter, it's just in the background and reverts back after the game exists.
