Windows back up not working

Hello,
I'm trying to run the backup and restore feature on my computer but whenever i click the "Back up now" button I'm taken to "C:\Windows\system32". What should I do?

you know what works immensely better than windows backup? Clonezilla. Its a free tool that allows you to image partitions or the entire drive to back it up.
