Windows boots and then goes to black screen

I've got windows 7, yesterday it worked like a charm no problems or anything. Had to get the GPU out and then after i put it back in windows would blue screen on boot. reinstalled it, everything was fine(at that time it didn't seem weird) and started to install the drivers. the problem seems to occur after i install the GPU driver.windows boots, gets to the desktop and then it freezes afterwards I get a black screen.

GPU:RX 550 pulse 4GB
CPU:core 2 quad Q9400
PSU:450W (don't know more than that)
RAM:8GB

Is there a way to get a screen without that card.. i mean like onboard VGA or DVI like something. If so then try to get in to the windows and clean up you drivers using DDU and give it another try? This sounds like a driver crash to me.

used DDU. downloaded and installed the driver again. problem persists.

Can you start it without the card and see what happen... is it possible? Since you haven't mentioned about the motherboard i have no idea about the possibility... i just want to make sure whether you are capable of getting a onboard display output. so we can put either of your GPU or PC out of the question and start with the rest.

no image off onboard period

Not even BIOS?
Remove the hard disk and try it again.. why is it not showing anything without the card?

Changed to windows 10 and works perfectly out of no where.
