Windows cannot automatically detect this network's settings

Hello Guys,
I occasionally get an error with my internet connection saying "windows cannot automatically detect this network's settings". Normally I can restart my router or leave it for a few minutes and it will automatically fix itself but it is still annoying and I was wondering if there is a permanent fix for this.

Do you need to install/update any drivers?
I would try connecting it to aethernet to see if its a internet or wireless problem.

It is connected by Ethernet and as I said in the original post restarting the router does fix the problem but only temporarily.
