Question windows cant detect display

Hi all

im having an issue with windows.ive connected my monitor and under display i dont see it nor cant i see wheather ots 1 or 2.i clicked on detect.It says (didnt detect another display)older displays might not always connect automatically.select detect to try connect them.im trying to connect a 2nd monitor aswell and it just doesnt pick up.

i have windows 10 home 64bit
and an amd graphics card.

Update your gpu drivers. Does your monitor have a cd that came with it?

they are all up tp date.and i dont have a cd/dvd drive

Is the cable good?
Try a different port.
Do you know for sure that the monitor works?

yes its good the HDMI cords i bought 2 which are high Speed bandwidth up to 340MHz (10.2Gbs).The monitor works perfectly the problem is it doesn't detect it.When I plug in another monitor...usually in display settings at the bottom it shows both monitors where as you have the 3 options:show desktop 1 or 2 or extend displays.but the 2nd monitor doesn't work nor are they those options.if i plug in either one as a single monitor they work,i just cant connect 2 monitors.
my graphics card only has 1HDMI port 3 USB ports and 1 dvi port.Do you think it could be software related?
