I have tried to install windows 10 but keep getting error code 0x80070570

Things i have tried to fix this issue
Updating the bios
taking ram out and only keeping one in (I have 2x8GB DDR4)
Tried testing HDDs (Only using one at a time)
Reseting bios to default settings
Taking HDDs out of RAID0

Things i can't try
Replacing ram completely (Don't have spare DDR4)
Replacing HDDs (Don't have the money)
Taking out GPU (Don't know why that would affect it)

My PC SPECS

i5 6500 3.2GHz (Brand New)
ASUS Z170-A Motherboard (Brand New)
GTX 1070 ( 6 Months max old)
Stock CPU Cooler (Brand New)
2x8GB DDR4 3200MHz G.Skillz ( Brand New)
2x1TB TOSHIBA DT01A100 (3 Years Old, Need replaced just no money)
600W PSU EVGA 80+ Silver ( 1 Year old)

Solution
Check you have latest BIOS - new motherboards can have old BIOS on them
Try another USB stick, can just be the installer

Try running the free version of http://www.memtest86.com/ on your ram sticks, one at a time. It creates a bootable USB so don't need windows. Any errors are too many, stick needs replacing if you get any.

I'll get to work on trying these, I have updated the bios to the current version.

I'll check it, Could it be from the HDDs? There are really old but both of them dead at the same time? Thanks for reply!

these people say it could be hdd (don't download or buy anything) but unless you have another PC to put drives into and test, its easier to try the ram first as it seems to stop every install I run into these days.

If you can plug drives into another PC, I would run the free version of http://www.hdtune.com/ on the drives and see what their health scores show.

If you don't have another PC, you can do this part
boot from installer, on 2nd screen after languages, choose repair this pc, not install
choose troubleshoot
choose advanced
choose command prompt
type chkdsk c: /f /r and press enter - it depends on if drives formatted as GPT as to if this works or not.

I started the memory test and not sure what any of it means, is there a certain time width I should get a ram stick in before replacing it with the other? Does it let me know when I'm finished with a ram stick, Thanks for your quick replies!

Four hours total, so 2 hours per stick or 4 hours per stick? Sorry for asking so many questions I just don't know what to do. Thanks for the help

http://superuser.com/questions/547822/how-many-passes-are-enough-with-memtest

how long is a good question, its growing as the stick sizes increase. one pass may only take 90 minutes, most people suggest to run at lesat 4 passes though.

that is per stick, no point doing them both at same time, can't tell which is bad then.

It depends on the ram, if you start getting lots of errors right away its not really worth continuing. Perfect score is 0 after all, that is what you want. So only do multi passes if 1st run has no errors.

OK, Thanks. Also, forgot to add this but the install doesn't immediately pop up the error it gets anywhere from 20%-35% first. Don't know if it helps to find the issue but it seems like I should have included it.

Ok, Ram stick #1 did 4 tests and passed with no errors. Just started ram #2. I will be able to check HDD and the USB later today.

UPDATE: Both ram sticks passed the test, I guess its a HDD error or the USB flash drive?

if you have another pc (since you made memtest I assume you do), test the two drives with hdtune. Toshiba have a tool but i can't seem to locate a download link for it, so just use hdtune and see if tis the drives. Sorry wasting time on memory, at least you know its not it.

Took out the GPU and tried an new USB stick. I'm guessing it wasn't the GPU but it was the USB stick. Sucks because it was a really good one.
