Okay I just got a new laptop I bought it used from Computer Upgrade King on Amazon. It is a HP Envy 15t-j100 (the one with Windows 8.1)
The specs are:
I7-4700MQ (Intel 4600 Graphics)
Geforce 740M
8GB Ram
1TB HDD
As soon as I fired it up it ran through setup since it was factory reset. I went through setup as expected and everything seemed to be working. Until I thought I would the the Geforce Control panel not installed. So I went to HP's website and grab the Geforce driver. I ran it and I get Error Nvidia install cannot continue compatible graphics hardware not found. Device Manager only shows the 4600 and 0 Unkown devices I don't know if it has Optimus in the conventional sense I tried stock Nvidia drivers they don't work either.
