At least with a search engine, your privacy impact can be reduced with different OS, VPN and browser options. With Windows 11 requiring an online MS account, searches will be tied directly to that account.

What Microsoft really needs to do is to bind their AI to the Windows API and train it to hell, so I can say something like "sort this folder by date modified and rename every video file in the following format: a numbered prefix starting from 001, then the original name, then a 'date modified' suffix in the yyyy-mm-dd format", or "extract every RAR archive in C-DOWNLOADS to D-EXTRACTED. Create the location's folder if it doesn't exist' and it can do the job without me ever touching a mouse. That's about the only OS-level type of AI integration I'm interested in.

So.. Microsoft instead of adding more options and expanding the functions of Windows 11. They have been busy cutting down stuff, dumbing down menus, removing features.. just to add.. a privacy breaking farming question tool because "Ai is cool"?
