I have been having issues with a few programs since i have installed Windows 10 (Hearthstone crashing at random, Guild Wars 2 crashing on loading new areas, to give a couple of examples) so i decided to run SFC ScanNow which found corrupted files but could not fix them.

I then ran Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth and received:
Error: 0x800f081f
The source files could not be found.

Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /StartComponentCleanup returned:
Error: 6800
The function attempted to use a name that is reserved for use by another transaction.

I checked the log file but I simply don't know enough about Windows diagnostics to be able to figure out what to do next, i would appreciate it if anybody could shed some light on this as i do not want to reinstall Windows 10 and redownload over 200GB worth of data.

Thanks all,
Jobo.

If you get an error like it was reserved, it means the file is on a region of your hard drive that is considered a protective file.
And in fact in use at the time, an access violation.

The most common cause windows, in the very same way it can reserve a part of system memory for windows os and it`s soul use preventing other programs from reading and writing to the reserved memory blocks of the ram module by windows os.

To fix them you will have to do so without being in windows or it being loaded while you run any disk fixing software.
That is why when you do any sort of disk scan windows restarts and before the windows 10 os loads the disk scan is performed.
