Windows Folder Options

How do you get folders in windows explorer to default to details?
It usually defaults to listing

Set up the folder the way you like, i.e. view > details, etc. Click the header tabs to sort the files/folders. When you're done, go Tools, Folder Options, View, Apply to Folders, OK.
