Windows freezing and lagging upon closing

Starting since last night, i have been having issue where whenever I close or even minimize things, applications, windows, task manager, pretty much anything, it'll get frozen mid closing, and leave a grayed out image of it behind, covering everything in that area, and becoming completely unclickable. If I drag a different window around, the windows will then properly close / minimize, but otherwise they will stay like that for around 30 seconds. Here is an image showing the issue, where gta 5, and task manager are stuck trying to be closed http://imgur.com/zI7JD1B I have ran memtest, my overclock is perfectly stable and has been for months, so it can't be either of those. My ssd is very new and should not be having any issues either.

I have also ran AVG, MalwareBytes, and ADWcleaner, I do not have viruses, there are no suspicious services or programs running either. I have attempted a system restore, and that seemingly fixed the issue for about 2 hours, but I may have just had a lucky streak since this happens for a bit every so often. I have been monitoring temperatures as well, and I never go above 65c on my cpu, gpu even lower

Update: I ran a stress test the other night, and my primary SSD completely died...I came to the conclusion that was the issue...but upon buying a new ssd and reinstalling windows...the issue has returned. The health of the drive seems fine...so I have no idea whats wrong...any help would be greatly appreciated

Shouldn't be the OC...just went down from 4.4 to default, and even with both high / low voltages, the issue persists. Also, I have found a way to force the issue to appear. When I open a video file, any file, whenever I try to minimize or close anything they will become stuck frozen. When I close the video, everything else will close all at once

Just tested this a few times, nothing abnormal, usage fairly normal, no spikes in anything at all

Update: Tested a few more things, think I'm narrowing down on the problem! I tried booting up my old SSHD that i left windows on, and while extremely laggy and completely unable to be used, I was unable to replicated the problem under the same conditions. This leads me to believe that it is not my CPU nor my GPU causing the issue. It is highly likely that either my ssd, or my hotswap drive it's plugged in to, is damaged. The chances of have two drives, one a few months old and one new both be dead is unlikely, so it is most likely the port that is damaged and causing the issues. I am going to test my ssd at my friend's house tomorrow and see if the issue persists

Double Update: Now that I think about it...Im pretty sure my Adata drive died there as well....It is likely a damaged port!
