Windows Freezing right after logging in

SO I've actually posted on here before, but I didn't get much help. Hopefully second times a charm.

Basically, after installing all the appropriate and up to date drivers for my components, Windows will randomly freeze right after logging in. The mouse is stuck in the loading state and I can still move it around, however, I can't click on anything. If I right click, the context menu attempts to display but gets stuck in a semi-transparent state and I cant really do anything. To boot, I can see the CPU temp on my mobo shoot up from 25 to 45 degrees and the fans start to spin really loudly. The only thing I can do at this point is to manually reset the comp. I have played a good deal of games on it and it runs really smoothly, I have also run a ton of benchmarks without any hiccups.

I've already looked through the logs and nothing noteworthy sticks out. As I said before, I am pretty sure I have all the latest drivers for all the hardware I have on my computer. Yet, this problem persists. I also reinstalled Windows 8.1 twice and the problem still occurs.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Guys!

Anything changed in the bios?
Try reset everything to default, Check your cpu temp in bios, Does it freeze at all in bios or only in windows.
Sort of sounds like a hardware problem such as cpu cooler/fan, if your temps just shoot up like you mention.
Is your ram running at the correct speed?
System freezes are a hard one to diagnose as it could be quite a number of things that can cause it.
Just need to stay calm(which isn't easy when you are putting up with constant freezes, Been there lol), Go through everything doesn't matter how small or stupid it may sound, even just a loose wire not attached properly could cause a system to hang.
Other than that maybe some component is about to fail, motherboard maybe?
Best of luck to you,
Shane

Well thats the funny thing. It only happens sometimes. If I dont experience it in the beginning, then I wont see it at all. Its like something is locking my system right after logging in. Like some program, or driver is causing Windows to lock up. I have seen it come out of the locked state after letting it sit there for like a couple of minutes. After which, the computer starts to behave normally. Just to clarify, I just built this computer in December. I guess I'll give the components a look over to see if anything obvious is the problem, but I doubt it.

This is getting to be rather annoying as I have to restart it every time. I just recently flashed the latest bios for it, along with some new mobo drivers. I don't think its made a difference. Sometimes it goes weeks without freezing. But it eventually does. I really don't have the slightest clue as to what is causing the problem...
