[SOLVED] Windows green screened, now stuck in boot loop

Hi my friends pc has just died in a game of warzone. he said his screen went green.
Now when he turns on the pc it gets stuck in a boot loop and wont post.
He also told me he looked at his GPU temps just before crash and ther where high.

Pc specs
i7 think its either a 2600k or 3600k (either way i know its a huge bottleneck on his gpu)
16gb ddr3
GTX 1080

due to quarentein i cant go pick up his pc and test his parts, if anyone has any ideas im open.

Has friend got integrated graphics that he can test because if it boots up then its not his computer but if it dose boot up could mean that his gpu could be failing!

yeah he is unsure but his motherboard hasnt got a video output unfortunatly 🙁
hes gonna drop it off outside my house in a few days and im gonna test the parts 1 by 1.
