I wanted to know more about installing Windows(10 specifically) on a newly built PC. I want to build a PC in the near future and i was going to download Windows on to a USB and i would like to know more about that. The main thing i want to know is if it will charge me money to download it on to the USB or charge me when i try to put it on to the computer, or not charge me at all. I just want to know how much it will charge me and when or if it will charge me. Also my second question is how do i transfer my downloads on one PC to another. I have Camtasia studio 9 editing software which is 200 dollars, and i don't want to lose it, because it is expensive and i need it so how can i make sure that i can have that?

Just creating your...

Just creating your own Windows 10 USB install will NOT cost you money.
Go here and make one now: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
You can install with that.

Buying a license WILL cost money. About $90USD, from a valid retailer.

Your software will need to be reinstalled on the new PPC. You can't just transfer an already installed application.
Presumably you still have the license key for that Camtasia?

Solution

I don't still have the key so what should i do about that.

You can install it, and leave out the license key. It will still install and run.

There will be a randomly appearing nag screen at the bottom right, and you can't customize the desktop or taskbar.
Other than that, it runs OK.
