Question Windows is on the fritz!

Don't know what is causing it but recently my pc has sometimes just started acting crazy and unresponsive, when this happens, it's completely unusable, and I have to turn off with the physical power button.
Here is a video showing the problem, it contains no audio but I am madly clicking with most actions being unresponsive:

full system spec? include make and model of the psu

malware scan the system?

Do you happen to have a game controller plugged to the computer? if, yes, disconnect it and see if the problem remains...

I just installed Malwarebytes, and 1 unknown file was deleted, maybe that was it? hopefully

No, I only use use Xbox one controller via bluetooth
