Question Windows is truncating my user name when signing to Microsoft Account

My user name entered was DarkSorrow.
Whenever I sign-in to Microsoft Account during Windows 11 installation, my user name is always truncated i.e. name of C:\User\<user-name> folder.
The folder is always created as DarkS instead of DarkSorrow.

How do I remedy this problem? Currently my OS is fresh with nothing installed.

Working as designed. Windows truncates user names to 5 characters. My user name of ubuysa is truncated to ubuys in Windows.

Personally I think it unwise in the extreme to hack the registry for something that's really just cosmetic. I would never do it.
