[SOLVED] Windows is using Microsoft Basic Display Adapter ?

Hey everyone so my cousin was messing with my PC when i didn't know it and now my PC is running Microsoft Basic Display Adapter instead of what was on my PC i had AMD integrated graphics and i had the GPU tab in task manager and now i don't i have tried to re-download drivers and i still don't have the AMD integrated graphics i cant even download the AMD Adrenalin app and i can't play any of my games can someone help me please.

i dont understand like erverything was fine i was playing my games that i like then had to go to work then he gets on my pc and uninstalls the AMD intergraded graphics so is there a way by doing that can cause a hardware problom?

Not really, no. You have undone, several times, anything he would have changed.

what if i completely wiped my pc and factory reset it would that fix it or is it not worth it

Just to clarify, when installing manufacturer Amd Gfx driver, you did run it as administrator? That is important, the driver won't install properly otherwise, this is with any driver.

Supposedly, you have done the equivalent of this already.

i have a USB drive now but idk if it is big enough do you know how big it needs to be

He theorizes that the ISO for the OS installer is custom to the mini-PC which explains why an installer off of Windows Media Creation Tools doesn't work(i.e, the GPU driver isn't talking to the OS).

Worth taking a look at it.

yes so i learnt that i can only download the drivers from the manufacture
