So i go to my power options and change put the computer to sleep option to never. I save changes and after about a day or two when i leave my computer idle and return after a while and see that my computer is in sleep mode, i go to power options to check it and find out the sleep option timer is back to 30 minutes.

This is becoming a nuisance and an headache, i don't want my system to sleep and the wake as its usually bad on hdd's reliability and i have 6 mechanical hdd's in my system. I wonder what makes windows change the power option and how i can keep it from doing so?

Is some other application like perhaps Asus AI Suite 3 is culprit here? I Use asus AI suite to adjust my case and cpu fans so i really don't want to get rid of it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having the same problem on a new install. Did you find a solution?

Update: Solved my problem. It was Bitdefender when using Game Profile. Unchecked the "Adjust power plan settings for games" option and voila!

That doesn't help, i don't have any problem to turn of sleep timer, the problem is it keeps reverting back on after a day or two by itself.
Just checked it and it was again back on 30 Minutes.
