Windows keep toning my vowels

Hey, My friend is Greek uses Windows 8.

When he types vowels, the computer automatically tones the letter (I don't know if any of you is familiar with the language but if you want to put a tone over a vowel you have to press the button next to L on the keyboard)
Can anyone help out? I've searched everywhere and there was no answer to be found.

If it does it for every possible letter press, it's likely a shorted out keyboard.
If the keyboard only does that on that one computer and only on some instances, it might be the auto-correct feature (right click on language to change options)
