Windows live mail has stopped working in windows 10?

Windows live mail has stopped working on Windows 10. I have tried to repair to no avail and I also uninstalled and reinstalled it. Still getting message that a problem caused the program to stop working correctly, what can be done to fix it?

My mum still uses the 2012 edition, some times it plays up and we just right click the icon in start menu and let it run as admin. That normally fixes it until the next windows update when we sometimes have to do it again.

No I have tried that route, still doesn't work!

What version are you using? it seems an update sent out in December is causing issues to WLM 2012, Microsoft have since pulled it so is the one you are using from a new download or an old install that may have the update installed?

I have tried downloading it from several different links including the ones from above. All from the Microsoft site. I am trying to run the windows live essentials 2012 . It was working pretty good but a few days ago just stopped working and in the past I know I just uninstalled and reinstalled it and that fixed the problem but now I just keep getting the message a problem has caused the program to stop running .
