[SOLVED] Windows media creation tool error.

I’m trying to reinstall windows using The windows media creation tool. I’ve created a bootable usb using the windows media creation tool but upon running setup.exe I get this error:

“Windows installation encountered an unexpected error. Error code: 0x8007045A Ox40003”

I have attempted to boot from the usb but windows says it’s unable to boot from this device.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hi, I’m attempting to run setup.exe because I can’t seem to be able to boot from the usb flash drive since windows says it’s unable to boot. I’ve tried all 3 USB ports available on my computer all of which returned the same result.
System Specs
Win 10 Home (64 bit)
i7-7700HQ (2.80 GHz)
8 Gb RAM
Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050

I would try using another USB drive. There are some that just don't appear to the bios as USB drives but instead show as HDD.

what motherboard are you using?
