Windows Media Player in PINK!?

Since the installation of the 8800GTX - games and pics are sweet, but movies and WMP are all in a shade of pink.

Am I looking at an error in the card? or have I stuffed one of my settings?

Pink? Hmmm... not that theres anything wrong with it... on a more serious note, does it appear vibrant or drab? Ive seen vibrant colors as a gfx card problem with the vram

All the videos I watch are pink 😉

Only joking, I had all my videos displaying in pink and green when I upgraded to an ATI x1900. I managed to solve the issue by clicking Tools->Options->Performance->Advanced in mediaplayer and then disabling 'Use Video Mixing Renderer'

I think it was that option anyway. I suggest you try that and if it doesn't work try disabling a few more bits and bobs on that screen.
