Hi, I just finished building my first pc. I installed windows, it works fine for 1/2 an hour until I decided to update my drivers with the cd that came with the Motherboard ( Asrock B85 pro4), about halfway through the drive updates, my computer restarts and the screen goes black right after the "windows is starting up" icon/loading screen comes up. What do I do? I literally just finished building it and I already have problems. I also don't know if reinstalling windows is an option because of the copy I bought, can I use the same code twice if it becomes necessary? I wouldn't like to have to buy a second copy of windows because of this. :/
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated if you could help me solve this.

There shouldn't be a problem with the activation key as you will still have the same PC after the installation and Windows notices that. If the Hardware changes (e.g. new motherboard) Windows will usually think that it's a different PC and the key won't work anymore, then you have to reset it (by phone).

I also wouldn't update the drivers with the CD that came along because those drivers are usually older than the one you can find on the manufacturer's website.

Try reinstalling it and download the newest drivers from the website. Also make sure you didn't use the motherboard's HDMI socket but the one from the GPU (if existing). Just to make sure, also try a VGA cable instead of HDMI.
