Windows Not Booting from Flashdrive Properly

I've reinstalled windows 7 several times on other computers, but my friend brought me a laptop last week and this thing refuses to boot from my flash drive. Even after setting the boot priority in BIOS... I'm not sure exactly what to do -- Any ideas?

If it helps at all, It's a Lenovo business laptop and it's my first time working with one

Hello... could be a security issue/setting in the BIO's...
1) is the USB formatted FAT32?
2) What Bootable DOS version are you using for the USB.

The USB is formatted with fat32, if I remember correctly and it's booting from Windows 7 professional

I'm sure it's a security issue. Any ideas?

Hello... Was there a BIO's password saved by the Owner? if so you just remove the battery and it gone and BIO's defaults back .
