Windows not detecting 8 cores FX-8350

Windows Task Manager only shows one core, and AMD Overdrive only shows 4, but it's a quad core cpu, what could be wrong?

Device Manager > Processors tab > Right click CPU and click scan for hardware changes, worked for me.

Ahh, I fixed it, I went to run>msconfig>boot>advanced options>unchecked the number of processors box that I had previously set to 4 for my old CPU and applied, okayed and restarted the pc.
