Windows not outputting any audio

What does not work
- No headphones work
- red X next to the speaker symble
- When I press it it opens windows trouble shoot, which crashes after checking the audio device

- When I try to de activate the audio device nothing responds

What I tried

- de-installing all audio drivers / usb devicees
- Sfc scan (found no errors)
- Clean reboot
- Made sure headphones work on other devices
- Updated audio drivers

Im afraid you will have to reset windows, I remember trying to fix this for a solid few days, and nothing worked.
